Position Summary Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Maternity for a travel nursing assignment at Dawson Creek, British Columbia. This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized maternal and newborn care in a supportive acute care environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients. Perform maternal and fetal assessments and monitor patient progression throughout labor and delivery. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols. Support newborn care, breastfeeding education, and postpartum recovery. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure continuity of care. Respond effectively to obstetrical emergencies and changes in patient condition. Qualifications Active RN registration with BCCNM. Recent Maternity/Labor & Delivery nursing experience. Current Perinatal Certification. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification. Fetal Heart Monitoring certification/experience recommended. Current BLS certification. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
