Travel Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) Location: British Columbia, Canada (On-site) Professional Summary Russell Tobin is actively recruiting Travel Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) for contract opportunities across British Columbia. We're looking for skilled laboratory professionals who are passionate about delivering accurate diagnostic results and supporting high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine, and Histology. Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Perform quality control to ensure accurate test results. Document and validate findings in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Follow safety, accreditation, and organizational standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pathologists, and healthcare teams. Support efficient laboratory operations and quality patient care. Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist Program. (Preferred) Current CSMLS Certification or eligibility to obtain certification. Registration or eligibility for registration in British Columbia, where applicable. Strong laboratory knowledge and technical skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care. Position Details: Assignment Length: 4-13 Weeks (Potential extension) Schedule and Shifts: Full-time hours as per operational needs of the facility Compensation: CAD $45-$54 per Hour (Based on Experience and Location) Benefits: Travel and accommodation support provided.
