In this role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, transfusion medicine, microbiology, and more. Your ability to operate complex lab equipment, validate results, and follow strict quality and safety protocols is key to ensuring accurate diagnostics. 🔍 Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across multiple disciplines Analyze and validate results to ensure accuracy and reliability Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers Process specimens according to established protocols and quality standards Follow procedures for quality control, documentation, and reporting Collaborate with pathologists, clinicians, and other lab professionals Participate in proficiency testing and continuous quality improvement Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements ✨ Position Highlights 📍 Location: Hospital and community laboratories across British Columbia ⏰ Shifts: Days, evenings, nights, weekends, and rotating shifts 🧪 Environment: Modern, well-equipped labs with collaborative interdisciplinary teams 🧾 Requirements – What You’ll Bring ✔ Current registration or eligibility with CSMLS and/or BC College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (CMLTA equivalent in BC) ✔ Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science ✔ Experience in one or more lab disciplines (hospital lab experience preferred) ✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills ✔ Ability to manage high workload volumes while maintaining accuracy ✔ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities ✔ Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and high-quality lab practices 🌟 Why Join Us?
