Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) Location: British Columbia, Canada Professional Summary Russell Tobin is seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses (OR RNs) for travel assignments across British Columbia. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong perioperative experience who are passionate about delivering safe, high-quality surgical care while working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care in operating room settings. Prepare patients, equipment, instruments, and surgical suites for procedures. Assist surgeons and healthcare teams during surgical procedures. Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards. Monitor patient safety throughout the intraoperative process. Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams. Complete accurate clinical documentation and patient records. Qualifications Required Qualifications Current registration and good standing with BCCNM. Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience. Current BLS Certification. Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile techniques. Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and workflows. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as required. Preferred Qualifications Perioperative Nursing Certificate. ACLS Certification. Previous travel nursing experience. Experience in a variety of surgical specialties. Position Details Assignment Length: 4-13 Weeks (Potential Extension) Schedule and Shifts: Full-time hours (80 Hours Bi-Weekly) based on operational needs of the facility Compensation: CAD $52-$65 per Hour Employment Type: Travel / Contract Benefits Travel and accommodation support provided.
