Position Summary: Russell Tobin is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for an assignment in Sechelt, British Columbia. This opportunity offers the chance to provide high-quality post-operative care, monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, and work alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and respond to changes in condition. Administer medications, pain management therapies, and prescribed treatments. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while adhering to patient safety standards. Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Minimum 1 year of recent PACU, Critical Care, Surgical Services, or Acute Care experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
