Work Arrangement: Onsite Work Term: Winter 2027; 12 months (Jan. 2027 - Dec. 2027) Compensation At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. The hourly pay range for this position is $22.70 - $36.40. Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed. Join Our Team as a MES Proposal Analyst (Co-op)! The Engineering Proposal Analyst (Co-op) will primarily work on updating specification documents for medium voltage metal-enclosed switchgear for S&C’s power utility customers in Canada and US. This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced engineers who will provide all the necessary training to be successful during your work term. Responsibilities * Develop basic electrical & mechanical design knowledge of metal-enclosed switchgear. * Review, with the support of experienced team members, power utility conditions of service documents for assigned territories to understand their individual service entrance requirements. * Prepare summary specification documents for the utilities & major customers which S&C serves. * Assist with reviewing and preparing proposal documents for medium voltage metal-enclosed switchgear. * Job-shadow engineering team members in multiple departments to gain an overview of the work process flow. * Perform additional duties to assist the engineering team as needed. Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Electrical Engineering. * Available for a 12 Month Co-op Work Term beginning in Winter 2027. * Knowledge of the basics of power system protection & control. * Self-starter with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well within a team environment. * Fast-learner with an aptitude for learning company-specific software. * Proficient with Microsoft software, specifically Excel, Word and MS Project. Physical Effort: Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs. Work Environment: Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels (all jobs will occasionally experience undesirable or disagreeable events). Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Electrical Engineering and be available for a 12-month term starting in Winter 2027. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and a basic understanding of power system protection and control are required.
