Job Description Join our team as a FUN Coordinator! In this role, you will design and lead engaging activities, events, and volunteer programs that bring joy and connection to Residents' daily lives. It's a hands-on role where your creativity directly boosts engagement and quality of life. Please note this is a temporary 4 month contract to cover a maternity leave. Designs a creative and exciting activities program to meet the individual needs and interests of Residents including the development of a monthly activities calendar Assists with department goals as well as communicates the programs and processes required to achieve them Supervise and retain volunteers Identifies and develops opportunities to create relationships with other professionals, community partners and/or organizations Coordinates the transportation of Resident to and from events outside of the Residence Oversee seasonal celebrations Actively supports in-service participation, meetings and committees Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Implements programmed activities Monitors resident participation rate and encourage attendance Qualifications Education and/or experience in Recreation/Activation or related field Good working knowledge of recreational programming and techniques Experience in working in hospitality and event planning Strong customer service skills and experience Exceptional interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Extremely enthusiastic and creative Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook required Additional Information While our Applicant Tracking System uses some AI-enhanced tools, every decision throughout screening, assessing, and selecting candidates is made by real people on our team.
