Position End Date: December 15, 2026 Deadline to apply: Until position is filled Reporting to the Supervisor, Quality and Strategic Initiatives, and working closely with the Administrator, Quality and Curriculum, this position provides temporary administrative support for the School of Health and Public Safety’s quality and curriculum processes. This is an entry-level position that provides a good opportunity to learn about post-secondary operations and systems, while further developing your administrative skills. The successful candidate has strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint), D2L, and Adobe Acrobat, and the capacity to learn other software programs used within SAIT and the School of Health and Public Safety. This temporary role will primarily support curriculum-related processes, including implementing course change requests, loading course resources, and facilitating faculty access to the learning management system, while also supporting other administrative functions such as records management, documentation control, and reporting activities. \n How you'll contribute Curriculum Administration Support the School of Health and Public Safety’s quality and curriculum processes: • Support annual curriculum renewal processes, including pulling course outline records, implementing course change requests in Curriculog, and validation of completed requests • Maintain required documentation, and provide reports • Support textbook/materials requisition processes • Support maintenance of the learning management system through loading required course resources, and facilitating staff access • Manage documentation records and templates • Support preparation of documentation through information gathering, records retrieval, file organization, and report preparation Administrative Support Provide administrative support for the quality and curriculum team, including: • Maintain electronic records and filing systems to support curriculum and quality processes (e.g. file management, document formatting, template maintenance) • Support for accreditation processes (e.g. compiling course outlines, organizing documentation) • Complete basic reporting, record verification, and checklist-based reviews, including escalating discrepancies for review • Track action items Learning and Professional Development • Develop proficiency in software systems used by SAIT and the School (e.g. Curriculog, D2L Brightspace, Smartsheet) • Seek out learning opportunities to further develop knowledge and abilities required for the role • Complete required SAIT training Communication and Collaboration • Communicate with school staff for clarification and follow-up (e.g. email) • Meet with Administrator, Quality and Curriculum to update on progress • Meet with direct supervisor • Communicate with other key contacts as necessary Other Duties • As assigned by the direct supervisor and/or Administrator, Quality and Curriculum Qualifications Education • Diploma in office administration • Up to 1 year related professional experience • Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered Qualifications, Certifications or Designations Minimum • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint etc) • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and PDF document management • Strong written and verbal communication • Typing, accurately and at reasonable pace • Attention to detail; proof reading • Organization and time management Preferred • MS Office Certifications • Basic proficiency in Smartsheet • Experience with Curriculog or other curriculum management systems • Experience with D2L-Brightspace or other Learning Management system \n We sincerely thank all applicants for their interest in this opportunity.
