General Labourer

Major Responsibilities - Ensures safe and efficient operation of cranes and processing equipment. - Ensures the processing equipment is operating to specifications. - Performs daily inspection on lifting equipment prior to start up. - Ensures all necessary reports have been completed. - Identifies packaged material per sales order requirements. - Ensures non-conforming product is brought forth to the Production Supervisor for disposition. - Generates and applies finish good tags to packaged product. - Updates inventory material locations (RTS). - Maintains good housekeeping in the work area. - Take part and initiate continuous improvement efforts. - Trains new employees as required. - Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor. The General Labourer is responsible for the safe operation of cranes and processing equipment while maintaining accurate inventory and production records. They also perform daily equipment inspections, package materials according to sales orders, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates must have previous experience in a production or warehouse environment and a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement. The role requires the ability to handle physical tasks and the interest to take on increasing responsibilities.
