In this role, you will play a key role in supporting Sandvik’s recruitment efforts across Canada. You will help attract top talent through strategic sourcing, seamless candidate experiences, and strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. What you will be doing * Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including job posting, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding. * Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs to effectively develop and execute recruitment strategies for assigned functions. * Lead in the development of sourcing strategies for hard to fill positions. * Remain current with market initiatives and proactively seek opportunities to promote Sandvik. * Establish relationships with local organizations, institutes, and establishments to create and maintain talent pipeline for applicable roles. * Participate in various talent acquisition events including, but not limited to, professional and academic career fairs, networking, industry, and community events. * Assist with reporting and metrics to track recruitment performance and trends. * Maintain and update recruitment activity in our HR systems (Workday). * Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate outreach efforts. * Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies throughout all recruitment processes. * Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed. What you will bring along * Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field of study is preferred. * 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced or industrial environment. * Knowledge of the mining industry would be an asset. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal teams. * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple roles and priorities. * Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems (Workday experience is an asset). * Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information. * A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to challenges. * Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time In return for your passion and drive we will offer you… * The opportunity to make an impact on our Divisions’ performance. * The opportunity to be part of an ambitious team, in an industry leading business. * The opportunity to reach your full potential.
