Job summary

Position Summary Sapphire Stream Technology is seeking a Junior Laptop Testing Engineer to support the testing and evaluation of laptop camera and Human Presence Detection (HPD) features. The role involves executing tests, collecting data, analyzing basic results, and creating reports for engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Test camera and HPD features on laptop products. Follow established test plans and procedures. Collect and organize test data. Compare HPD performance across different laptop products. Test features under different lighting conditions, distances, and user scenarios. Record defects and performance issues. Retest fixes and feature updates. Prepare clear test reports and result summaries. Support ISP, AI Camera, and camera development teams. Work with engineers to improve testing and data-collection processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Basic knowledge of laptop hardware, cameras, or software testing. Ability to follow test procedures and accurately record results. Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar data-analysis tools. Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Internship, academic, or project experience in software or hardware testing. Basic knowledge of cameras, computer vision, AI, or image processing. Familiarity with Windows laptops. Basic experience with Python or another scripting language. Experience preparing technical reports or presentations. Experience Zero to two years of relevant testing, validation, or engineering experience. Recent graduates with relevant academic projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
