Job summary

Teach students in the Steamfitter-Pipefitter and Gasfitter programs through face-to-face or online instruction. Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures, and demonstrations, and develop curriculum and training materials as needed.

Job details

1. Provide instruction to students enrolled in the Steamfitter-Pipefitter/Gasfitter programs. 2. Design and implement a student-centered learning environment using an outcome-based approach in either a face-to-face or online delivery mode. 3. Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations using principles of adult learning. 4. Develop new curriculum, training aids, and materials as needed. Qualifications: 1. Grade 12 or equivalent. 2. Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in the Steamfitter-Pipefitter trade complete with a General Gasfitter License. 3. Five years’ recent/relevant post-journeyperson experience as a Steamfitter-Pipefitter.
