Overview The Maintenance Documentation Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining the facility's maintenance documentation framework to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and vendors, this role creates practical maintenance documentation that standardizes maintenance activities and supports equipment reliability objectives. This position plays a key role during Operational Readiness by developing maintenance strategies, procedures, job plans, inspection programs, and troubleshooting resources, while supporting integration of maintenance information into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Accountabilities Maintenance Documentation Develop and maintain maintenance procedures for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and building services systems. Create preventive, predictive, corrective, and turnaround maintenance job plans. Develop inspection procedures, lubrication routes, calibration procedures, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance work instructions. Support equipment isolation and maintenance preparation instructions. Ensure documentation reflects the as-built facility configuration. Maintenance Strategy & CMMS Support Support development of maintenance strategies, equipment criticality assessments, and asset reliability programs. Develop standardized job plans and maintenance content for CMMS integration. Support equipment hierarchies, asset information management, and maintenance libraries. Maintain alignment between controlled documents and CMMS records. Commissioning, Readiness & Continuous Improvement Develop temporary maintenance procedures for commissioning and start-up activities. Capture lessons learned and transition temporary documentation into permanent procedures. Support readiness reviews and equipment handover activities. Monitor maintenance feedback and equipment performance to improve documentation and reliability practices. Documentation & Training Support Coordinate reviews with maintenance personnel, engineering teams, and vendors. Maintain document control, revision history, traceability, and compliance. Support maintenance training materials, competency assessments, and implementation of new procedures. Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline. 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, reliability engineering, maintenance planning, technical documentation, or related fields. Experience developing maintenance procedures, work instructions, job plans, or maintenance strategies. Experience supporting commissioning, start-up, or operational readiness activities is considered an asset. Experience with CMMS platforms such as IBM Maximo, SAP PM, HxGN EAM, or similar systems is preferred. Experience in mining, mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, metals processing, or other heavy industrial environments is an asset. The chosen candidate will also be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. Requirements

Requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or reliability engineering. Proficiency with CMMS platforms and experience in heavy industrial environments like mining or mineral processing is preferred.
