About

The Saskatoon Council on Aging is a community based nonprofit organization and resource hub for older adults 55 plus. To support older adults, we promote positive aging for all in an age-friendly community. Positive aging means feeling good as you grow older. If you stay active, engage and informed, you will age positively. To help keep older adults active, engaged and informed, SCOA provides a roster of age-friendly programs and services. SCOA’s vision is the future we are working towards – positive aging for all in an age-friendly community. An Age-friendly community helps older adults age with dignity, health and independence and includes older adults in community life. Age-friendly communities are for everyone – they are “great places to grow up and grow old.”
