Saturn has an opportunity for a full time Maintenance Electrician based in Estevan or Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Superintendent, SE Saskatchewan Conventional, some specific duties, and responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician include, but are not limited to: * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, drives, generators, and switchgear. * Diagnose and repair faults in AC/DC circuits, control systems, and process instrumentation. * Install and commission electrical equipment for new construction, upgrades, and expansions. * Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. * Ensure all electrical systems meet CSA, CEC, and company safety standards. * Conduct lockout/tagout (LOTO) and isolation procedures during maintenance activities. * Collaborate with operations to plan shutdowns and coordinate maintenance schedules. * Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and component replacements. * Support troubleshooting of automation and control systems, including PLC-based equipment. * Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies: * Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred). * Minimum 3–5 years of industrial or oil and gas electrical maintenance experience. * Valid provincial electrical trade license; H2S Alive, WHMIS, First Aid, etc. * Experience with motor control centers (MCCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and instrumentation wiring. * Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, one-line diagrams, and control schematics. * Familiarity with PLC systems and basic troubleshooting. * Ability to work outdoors in various conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders or scaffolding as needed. * Safety-focused and compliant with industry regulations. * Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. * Effective communication and teamwork in multi-disciplinary environments. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship. * Adaptable to rotating shifts, callouts, and field assignments.
