Savanna Well Servicing is looking to grow our business and we are currently hiring for the role of Service Rig Floorhand based out of a number of our field office locations in Western Canada. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the general maintenance of a well servicing rig including keeping the rig and equipment clean as well as organized. In addition to operating tools such as tongs. This fundamental role involves: • Cleaning and maintaining the equipment and well servicing rig • Using and maintaining hand tools • Carrying out duties as per the Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) and procedural manual • Effectively operating tongs to make and break connections • Effectively assist other members of the crew • Other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must be a team-player with the ability to build good work relationships • Strong communication skills • Attentiveness and good listening skills • Reliable with strong safety values • Knowledge of rig equipment and safety practices • Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions • Ability to maintain resilience and perseverance in the face of challenging situations/extreme weather conditions • Relevant functional and technical skills Qualified Candidates Require: • Valid H2S Alive Certification, First Aid Certification and CSO • Enform Floorhand Competency considered an asset • Class 5 Driver's License with airbrakes endorsement preferred • Class 1 or 3 Driver's License considered an asset ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **What does Savanna have to offer? • Safety conscious supported values • Awesome company matched Employee Stock Savings Plan (150% match) • Family Health & Dental Benefits • Above industry wages and Competency Bonus If you are an employee and you have a friend that you would like to refer, we also have a referral bonus program!
