As an SEO Manager, you will own organic growth for a fast-growing, product-led technology company. You will drive qualified traffic and self-serve user acquisition through technical SEO, programmatic SEO, content strategy, AEO/AI Search, and experimentation. This role goes beyond rankings and traffic. We’re looking for someone who understands how SEO supports a self-serve product journey; from discovery and landing-page conversion through signup, activation, and revenue. Responsibilities Own the SEO and organic growth strategy, driving qualified traffic, signups, conversions, and revenue. Develop SEO strategies for a product-led, self-serve acquisition model, optimizing the journey from organic discovery to product signup. Lead technical SEO across site architecture, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, internal linking, and structured data. Build and scale programmatic SEO (pSEO) initiatives targeting high-intent search opportunities. Develop AEO/GEO and AI Search strategies to improve visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and other emerging search experiences. Own website and content strategy, identifying scalable opportunities based on search intent, user needs, and conversion potential. Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Content to improve landing pages, user journeys, and organic conversion. Own SEO reporting across traffic, rankings, signups, conversions, revenue, and AI visibility. Manage external agencies, writers, freelancers, and SEO partners, holding them accountable for measurable outcomes. Partner with performance marketing teams and use paid acquisition insights to improve organic growth and overall acquisition efficiency. 6+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical SEO and organic growth. Experience owning SEO within a PLG, self-serve SaaS, marketplace, or technology company where users can discover, sign up for, and use or purchase the product without a traditional sales process. Proven experience driving signups, conversions, customer acquisition, or revenue through SEO, beyond rankings and traffic. Strong technical SEO expertise, including site architecture, indexing, crawl optimization, internal linking, schema, and Core Web Vitals. Experience building or managing programmatic SEO initiatives at scale. Strong understanding of AEO/GEO, AI Search, and LLM visibility. Experience owning or managing website content strategy and working with content teams, writers, or external partners. Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams. Strong analytical and experimentation skills, including SEO measurement and CRO. Experience running performance marketing directly or working closely with performance marketing teams. Vancouver-based or willing to relocate. Hybrid role, three days per week in the office. Preferred Qualifications Experience in SaaS, creator economy, marketplaces, or consumer technology. Experience with two-sided marketplaces or high-volume self-serve products. Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, or similar tools. Familiarity with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or AI-powered SEO automation. Location: Hybrid, Vancouver BC (3 days per week in office) Base Salary: $110,000 to $130,000 CAD PTO: 3 weeks paid vacation + holidays Paid Sick Leave Annual Reviews
