Mitchell Elementary School, Sparwood, BC Contract Type: Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE) Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $70,392 to $119,187, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension. Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay). Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Job Summary Learning Services Teacher - Grades K-6 1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 29, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to December 18, 2026, or return of the incumbent. Must have a degree/diploma or certification in Learning Services/Inclusive Education. Experience at the Elementary level would be considered an asset. Please note that all work will be on site.
