Effective immediately until June 30, 2027 This is position is for 0.252 FTE Learning Assistance Teacher 0.018 FTE Teacher Librarian This position may increase. The successful applicant must be willing to accept the increase. École Frank Ross Ecole Frank Ross (EFR) students come first. EFR is a Kindergarten to Grade 7 dual-track French Immersion and English school. Required Qualifications And Experience Hold, or be qualified for, a valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate Successful K-12 teacher training and practicum or evaluation documentation Legally eligible to work in Canada Desired Qualifications And Experience Include Experience with adapting, and modifying, curriculum to meet the needs of students Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs Strong classroom management skills Experience working with students who display a variety of behaviours Strong literacy and numeracy skills Willingness to work and implement school initiatives and goals Capacity to work independently and in collaboration with a team Committed to individualized and group instruction utilizing a variety of effective strategies and techniques Experience teaching in a multiage group setting Engages in fair, student focused assessment practices consistent with the BC curriculum and reporting order, and reflects on evidence of learning to guide instruction Why School District No. 59? Regular part time employees’ allowance will be prorated proportionate to the hours worked Remote and Rural Allowance: Teachers working in School District No. 59 are eligible to receive a remote and rural allowance, which is both an adjustment to the salary grid and an annual allowance of approximately $3,035* per FTE. Requirements

Applicants must hold or qualify for a valid British Columbia Ministry of Education teaching certificate, have successful K–12 teacher training and practicum or evaluation documentation, and be legally eligible to work in Canada. Preferred qualifications include relevant education or training in inclusive education and library studies, along with skills in curriculum adaptation, individualized instruction, classroom management, literacy and numeracy, and collaboration.
