POSTED: August 28, 2026 CLOSING DATE: September 1, 2026 COMPETITION # 2026-60 BUSINESS, TECHNOLOGY AND MATHEMATICS TEACHER Part-time (0.375 FTE) position West Vancouver Secondary School Effective September 8th, 2026 until June 30th, 2026 The annual salary for a full-time teaching position ranges from $63,347 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. The salary will be prorated based on FTE. Required Qualifications And Experience A part-time (.375 FTE) Entrepreneurship 10, Math 9, and Digital Media 9-12 position is available. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Appropriate qualifications and/or experience in teaching Information Technology and Math Post-secondary coursework and/or ELL instructional certification considered an asset Knowledgeable in the use of Proficiency Scales for assessment Knowledge of the Ministry of Education Core Competencies, Big Ideas, and Learning Standards for the appropriate curricular area Hold a valid BC Teaching certificate Commitment to and demonstrated experience using and integrating technology with the curriculum. An ability to use a variety of teaching and learning strategies that can accommodate the learning needs of all types of learners. A proven ability to develop a positive learning environment in the classroom and evidence of strong organization and classroom management skills.
