Job Summary We are looking for Physics tutors who can go to student's homes. We match our tutors and students together carefully. This is a 'feel good' job. Students gain confidence and get closer to achieving their academic goals and future careers. Locations: We need people willing to tutor in these locations: New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge NOTE: We are not looking for summer tutors. We need tutors in place for the busy school year starting in September. We do not promise tutoring assignments because it depends on the students' needs at that time. Responsibilities Assessing student's needs and developing a plan to help them succeed Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments. Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions Providing students with positive and constructive feedback Offering feedback on progress to students' parents Compensation: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour School Is Easy is a proud member of the LaunchLife family of companies. Candidates must be able to travel to students' homes in the Tri-cities area. The role requires the ability to teach physics and implement academic performance strategies.
