We have an existing opportunity to add an Electrical Engineer/Fire Investigator to our team! You will work in a hybrid capacity supporting the Dartmouth, NS area. Job Description * Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause fires. * Interview witnesses, service personnel and other local officials. * Inspections shall include, but not be limited to, roofs, attics, crawlspaces, partially destroyed buildings, fire damaged buildings, and elevated structures. * Able to recognize potential subrogation opportunities. * The ability to climb, work at heights, and work at all temperatures is required. * The ability to assess the general safety of damaged fire structures is essential. * Lead project(s) from start to finish. * Provide clear, accurate, and timely reports. * Assess, analyze and report on the origin and cause for electrical failures * Familiar with CSA, ASTM, NFPA codes and applications for a range of mechanical and electrical equipment. This is a site-based position. Candidates are required to have their own vehicle and license. We are looking for anyone throughout Atlantic Canada. Our billing centers are Dieppe NB & Dartmouth NS. Office space can be provided but some work from home is required. Requirements to work from our office are based on experience and manager discretion.
