Job summary
As a senior member of the Canada Life & Health Reserving team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting critical actuarial activities with a particular focus on assumption development, associated AXIS model development and strategic initiatives. This role represents a strong opportunity for an experienced actuarial professional to apply and further develop deep technical expertise to materially influence reserving outcomes and other strategic initiatives. Other activities may include supporting IFRS 17 and Solvency II reporting and capital management activities. The successful candidate is expected to be a fellow with demonstrated relevant experience. You will be a key contributor to the team’s most judgement-intensive and technically complex activities, including assumption development and strategic reserving initiatives. Requirements
Candidates must be a Fellow with demonstrated relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field. Strong technical expertise in AXIS model development and actuarial judgement is required.
