Harper Macleod Inverness, Elgin 2+ years PQE We are looking for an experienced solicitor to join our highly acclaimed Commercial Dispute Resolution team to be based across our Inverness and Elgin offices. We would welcome applications from solicitors with at least 2 years’ post-qualifying experience in a dispute resolution environment. We act for clients in the Court of Session, in all Sheriff Courts and Tribunals across Scotland and in the UK Supreme Court. Despite our Scottish footprint, we are proud of our international outlook and reach, regularly acting in cross-border complex disputes in Scotland or supporting our clients in other jurisdictions. The role will be varied and challenging but always rewarding. You will be led by a cohort of partners within the team, each of whom are individually recognised in the Legal Directories by our clients and peers. You will advise domestic and international clients on contentious matters across the full range of specialisms practised by our team, including contract litigation, professional negligence, company disputes, banking and financial services litigation, IP disputes, contentious construction and engineering projects, but with a primary focus on property and contentious private client disputes. Harper Macleod’s Dispute Resolution team across our Elgin and Inverness offices forms part of the firm’s strong and long-established footprint across the north of Scotland, combining local insight with the depth and breadth of a national law firm.
