Child and Youth Care Workers play an integral role in caring for and providing a safe and stable home environment for children and youth in residential care. As an influential role model, you build effective relationships with children and youth through a trauma informed lens. With your savvy decision making and problem-solving skills, you'll bring a positive attitude and caring personality to our team. Roll up your sleeves and jump into our provided training while knowing that your work makes a difference. What you'll bring? A Child and Youth Care certification or, degree and diploma is preferred. Experience working with children and youth from trauma or with various complex needs is considered an asset. A driver's license, Record of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check, First Aid Certificate, and Children, Seniors and Social Development (CSSD) Record Check is required. I'm in! What's next? Salary ranges from $21.05 to $21.90 per hour as per collective agreement Health and Dental Benefits for you and your family.
