Job summary

We are currently seeking casual employees interested in providing consistent evening support. The primary shift requirement is 7:00pm-10:00pm, with regular opportunities to work these scheduled evening hours. From time to time, additional shifts and extended hours may also become available, offering flexibility for those interested in picking up extra work. Momentum Developmental Support began as a residential-care system for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Our team quickly learned these vibrant, complex people didn’t just need housing and supervision. Rather, they needed a team who understood their abilities and mental health experiences. So, we adapted, to meet our clients where they are and focus on enhancing futures. It's more than just a job! As a Developmental Support Worker, you are a part of the Momentum Community. Working with clients to maintain safe and healthy lifestyles, you promote independence based on individual programming through recreational, learning, physical fitness, and money management activities. FUN is a big part of our day! What you’ll bring? A Highschool Diploma (post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset). Experience working in a support role with adults, preferably adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders is considered an asset A driver's license is required as well as a medical report, including immunization record and Tuberculosis skin test report, Record of conduct and a vulnerable sector check, Emergency First Aid AED/CPR Level C You're on the team! The wage rate is $19.08 per hour plus a remote work differential, specific to the Northern Peninsula, of an additional $4 per hour. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license along with necessary medical and background checks. Experience with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities and Emergency First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
