A day in the life
Your focus centers on driving new business within Canada's financial services sector, where you'll engage with decision-makers across banking, insurance, capital markets, wealth management, and fintech organizations. You might start your day preparing for a briefing with a Chief Information Officer at a major bank, where you'll connect their modernization goals to AWS capabilities around mainframe transformation and data platform innovation. Later, you could be collaborating with our Solutions Architects to design a proof-of-concept for a wealth management platform exploring generative AI adoption, or working with our Specialists to address a prospect's security and compliance concerns.
Beyond traditional sales activities, you'll develop territory coverage plans tailored to specific financial services sub-verticals, leverage industry insights to identify whitespace opportunities, and participate in executive engagement programs and Innovation Days. You'll also work cross-functionally with our customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions post-sale and build long-term strategic partnerships. Moderate travel throughout Canada supports your customer meetings, executive briefings, and industry participation.
