About the role
Here’s an extraordinary position! Do you dislike routine? This job is made for you!
For over 35 years, our client, located in Blainville, has been designing exhibition kiosks and custom furniture for residential and commercial projects.
We are looking for a general handyman for installation, loading/unloading, and transportation. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and a valid driver's license. A generous expense account is provided for travel!
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare booths and materials in the workshop (assembly, mounting, packing).
- Load and unload transport trucks, ensuring safe handling of equipment.
- Install exhibition booths on various sites, according to technical plans.
- Dismantle booths after events.
- Drive a Class 5 truck to installation sites.
- Ensure installation compliance and quality.
- Collaborate with the production, design, and logistics teams to ensure smooth installations and customer satisfaction.
- Perform any other related tasks as needed.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in setting up and installing modular structures, booths, or related equipment.
- Ability to safely lift and handle loads up to 50 lbs.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical plans.
- Functional bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) in order to communicate effectively during travel outside of Quebec.
- Availability to work variable schedules, including days, evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and up-to-date passport for travel outside of Quebec.
Salary: $30 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Status: Permanent.
