Securiguard is currently looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team! A Securiguard supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing security personnel, ensuring the safety and security of a facility, while upholding our core Values, Vision and Mission. Mission - Making People Feel Safe. Job Duties Maintain a visible presence and assist clients, employees and visitors. Build positive relationships with site personnel to improve cooperation and security awareness. Coordinating, managing, and guiding security personnel to ensure maximum efficiency and performance. Support shift coordination to ensure adequate coverage at all times, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Providing training on security protocols, emergency procedures, and company policies. Oversee access control at entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed in and verifying their identities. Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Prepare detailed incident reports for any security-related events, including thefts, vandalism, or accidents. Maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, and personnel attendance. Ensure that all security personnel adhere to workplace safety protocols and regulations. Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for security staff. Identify security risks and vulnerabilities on-site and implement measures to mitigate them and improve overall security. Ensure security equipment like radio, Tracktik handheld device, radio, alarms system and cameras work properly, and report malfunctions to management for repair. Conduct training sessions for security staff to improve skills and knowledge. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in security management. Requirements Valid Security Workers License. 2+ years of security experience, including 1+ years of experience as a security supervisor. OFA I, II or III (basic, intermediate, advanced) an asset. AST an asset. Familiarity with operating surveillance systems (CCTV), security software, and basic computer skills. Demonstrated attributes in supervision, decision making, organizing, problem solving analytical skill, interpersonal sensitivity and tolerance are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and emergency procedures. Proven ability to manage and lead a team of security personnel. Must be able to analyze and assess situations and proceed accordingly. A positive, professional and enthusiastic attitude is an imperative in dealing with both Securiguard, clients, or other personnel. Salary: $24.00 per hour

Requirements
