Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Richmond Hill, ON. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, greeting them in a professional manner and directing them to the appropriate team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include answering and routing phone calls, managing incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages, and maintaining a tidy reception and common areas. The role also involves scheduling appointments, updating contact information, supporting basic clerical tasks such as filing and photocopying, and assisting with administrative support for the accounting team as needed. The Receptionist is expected to uphold a courteous and client-focused approach while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all interactions. Qualifications Strong Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties skills, including professional greeting of clients and effective call management. Solid Clerical Skills such as filing, data entry, mail handling, and basic office administration. Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients and team members in a clear, respectful, and helpful manner. Previous experience in a receptionist or front-desk role in a professional services environment (accounting, legal, or similar) is an asset. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email and calendar tools) and comfort learning new systems. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
