SEGULA Technologies Canada is looking for an experienced Structure Engineer to support a major rail electrification / Overhead Catenary System (OCS) project in Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale rail infrastructure expansion project, providing independent structural engineering expertise and supporting the design, review, and delivery of critical OCS supporting structures. Locations: Toronto / GTHA, Ontario or Montréal, Québec Hybrid/Flexible – On-site presence preferred What You'll Do Perform structural analysis, calculations, design reviews, and technical assessments Review and challenge existing structural designs to ensure quality, compliance, and constructability Design and review steel structures, including masts, portals, trusses, anchors, connections, and bespoke structures Support design milestones including 60%, 90%, IFC, and shop-drawing reviews Prepare and review engineering reports, drawings, calculations, and stamped deliverables Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project interfaces Identify and resolve structural and constructability issues Manage multiple design packages and project-driven engineering requests Participate in technical meetings and provide regular progress updates What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Valid P.Eng. license in Canada – MANDATORY 5+ years of structural engineering experience Strong experience with structural steel design and analysis Knowledge of steel connections, wind/ice/seismic loads, structural calculations, and FEA Experience reviewing fabrication/shop drawings and understanding steel fabrication processes Experience with railway structures or rail electrification/OCS is highly preferred Experience with S-Frame or equivalent structural analysis software Knowledge of Aconex, AutoCAD, and/or Revit is an asset Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills English required; French is an asset Why Join SEGULA? Requirements

Candidates should have strong steel design and analysis experience, familiarity with loads, connections, FEA, and fabrication drawings; rail or OCS experience is preferred.
