Job Title: Logistics Coordinator II Location: Quebec, Canada (On-Site) Duration: 05+Months(with high possibility of extension) Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning the transportation of incoming and outgoing materials in order to meet the delivery dates promised to customers. He will also be responsible for monitoring customs transactions.. • Coordinate and optimize the shipment of tooling to customers • Coordinate and optimize the transport of incoming material, from different countries (sea and air transport) • Proactively establish customs classifications • Support and work closely with the procurement team, to ensure on-time receipt of goods (from pick-up at the supplier to delivery to our site) • Support and work closely with the project management team to ensure on-time delivery of goods to customers • With the Production Planner, plan shipments taking into account the capacity of our shipping team Qualifications: 1 year of experience in transport and customs environment (import/export) Mastery of Incoterms Mastery of HS codes Mastery of the documentation required for transport Knowledge of import/export rules by sea, road or air Knowledge of the transportation of dangerous goods, in Canada and the United States Experience in an industrial environment Basic knowledge of an ERP (SAP preferred) The position requires communicating with customers, suppliers and carriers internationally, bilingual English/French is mandatory Features: • Collaboration and communication • Good planning and organizational skills • Sense of urgency, ability to make quick decisions • Rigour
