Job summary
Senior Helpers Burlington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to seniors in the Burlington, ON area, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. * Provide companionship and support to enhance clients' emotional and social well-being. * Help with medication reminders and monitor clients' health status. * Support mobility and assist with light housekeeping tasks. * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. * Maintain accurate records of care and report any changes in client condition. REQUIREMENTS * Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program or equivalent. * Previous experience working with seniors preferred. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor. * Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle may be required. * Clear background check and references.
