Position Overview: As a Project Associate / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) within our Vancouver Building Restoration Consulting Team, you’ll play a vital part in delivering outstanding service and solutions to our clients. You’ll be immersed in a collaborative environment and gain hands-on experience in a range of project phases while representing Sense Engineering with a level of professionalism and dedication that sets us apart in the industry. General Responsibilities: Attitude: Exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit. Take ownership of your work and focus on providing solutions. Marketing: Represent Sense Engineering professionally, building positive relationships with clients, contractors and other consultants. Knowledge Development: Enhance your technical expertise and stay current on industry trends and best practices. Technical Responsibilities: Assist in building evaluations, site reviews, and investigations. Support project coordination and contribute to successful project delivery. Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless communication. Prepare evaluation reports, construction documents, and project proposals. Represent Sense at client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards. Other duties as assigned/required. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Civil or Materials Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field. Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset. Registered with or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC). Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong work ethic and attention to detail coupled with a client-centric mindset. Team player who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization. Base Salary Range is $65,000 to $80,000 (commensurate with experience). This position is eligible for profit sharing bonuses based on company and individual performance, increasing the estimated total compensation range to $70,000 to $90,000.
