Our sensing technologies are being used on landmark structures in over 15 countries including Canadian parliament buildings and the New Champlain Bridge. We are looking for two Business Development Executives to join our team. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers and managing the full sales cycle to a signed contract. Our customers are public owners, engineering companies and Universities. You will also expand Sensequake international network of partners and work with them to further expand our exports. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from prospecting, presenting and negotiating. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from the first contact until you close the deal. Job description: · Prospect leads to add to the sales funnel · Convert leads to sales opportunities · Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails · Present remotely or in-person our technologies & services to potential clients · Work well with social media (LinkedIn) · Attending trade shows and world-wide conferences · Expand our customer network both inside and outside of Canada · Negotiate contracts with clients · Identifying new international partners for Sensequake · Report to the CEO on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results · Update the CRM with daily sales activity Qualifications and requirement: · Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, account manager, international sales representative or similar role · Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls and customer-facing meetings) · Experience with CRM software · Understanding of sales performance metrics · Excellent communication and negotiation skills · Ability to deliver engaging presentations · Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills · Willing to travel in Canada and other countries · Passion for technology, self-motivated, independent and a team player · Proficiency in Microsoft Windows / Office applications Assets: · At least 3 years of enterprise B2B & B2G selling experience · BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field, MBA · Experience in selling in engineering and technology companies.
