As an ECA, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with childcare staff and the Supervisor at various centres located in Durham region. Your role includes fostering a nurturing, safe environment for children from infant to school age, supporting daily activities, and maintaining high standards of care and compliance. Working Conditions: * Light to moderate physical activity (lifting, bending, etc.) * Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons. Responsibilities: * Create a warm, inclusive learning environment that supports child development * Supervise children during both indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety * Keep classrooms and shared spaces clean and organized * Assist with meals and nap time in line with centre policies and Public Health standards * Actively participate in play-based and learning activities with children * Support staff and contribute to a collaborative, positive team environment * Follow all regulations and guidelines, including CCEYA, AQI, and HDLH * Participate in all mandatory company activities, trainings and meetings. * Perform other duties as required Requirements: * Clear Vulnerable Sector Police check (within 6 months) * Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C * Reliable transportation within Durham region.
