Position Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented full time Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and disinfection services across a variety of commercial and residential environments. As part of our professional cleaning crew, you will use industry-leading equipment, environmentally friendly products, and proven methods to ensure every space meets our high standards of cleanliness and safety. Wage: $22 - $28/hour (depending on experience). Full time positions: 40 hours/week Core Responsibilities Perform routine janitorial and specialty cleaning services (offices, commercial facilities, and residential spaces) Clean and maintain carpets, upholstery, floors, and other surfaces using approved techniques Disinfect high-touch areas to support workplace health and safety standards Operate cleaning equipment and use eco-friendly cleaning products properly Complete deep cleaning, specialty cleaning (e.g., biohazard, estate, or post-construction), and maintenance programs as required Follow company procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure client expectations are met Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment Qualifications Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset (training provided for the right candidate) Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Ability to follow safety procedures and handle cleaning equipment responsibly Flexibility to work various shifts and job sites as needed Have a valid driver's license Criminal Record check upon hiring Why Join Us · Competitive wages: $22-$28/hour pending on experience · Medical and Dental benefits after 3 month probationary period Work with a respected and established cleaning company Be part of a highly trained and supportive team Gain experience with advanced cleaning technologies and systems Opportunity to grow within a company known for excellence and innovation * Please email your resume to peter.drysdale@smcleanvic.ca and kelly.hueston@smcleanvic.ca
