As an Assistant Branch Manager, reporting to the Market Director, your primary goal is to empower, support and develop your team of Financial Advisors. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you have a passion for leading people and can help your Financial Advisors understand our member's needs, therefore driving performance and success for the branch. You are an expert in the sales process and delivering progressive lending and investment services to our members. What You'll be Doing: * Motivating and coaching employees to find opportunities to shape members financial fitness * Being proactive in pursuing new business opportunities * Monitoring and ensuring financial targets are being met or exceeded for the branch * Promoting referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking and 3rd party providers * Adhering to policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk of loss * Providing support, guidance, and training to all employees as necessary to ensure performance improvement and cohesive teamwork * Preparing accurate and complete documentation, processing account changes, and handling member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner What you Bring: * 5 years of retail banking experience * A minimum of 3 years experience as a Financial Advisor * A comprehensive understanding of lending and credit Although not required, the following education/certificates are valuable assets: * Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies) * Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC) * Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA) * Financial Planning I (FP1) Why Servus?
