Job Description SGS is currently looking for inspectors for a turnaround for a one month contract in Fort McMurray starting September 4th. The work is on a site in Fort McMurray. The contractor will live in a camp and the work schedule is 6 days on/1 day off - 12 hour shift. After the first 6/1, the contractor might work straight through until the end of the turnaround. Qualifications API 510 or API 570 or CWB Level 2 (minimum) A few years of industrial welding-related inspection experience. These years should be in Turnaround / shutdowns / site work / Quality Assurance / vendor surveillance / shop inspections If no turnaround experience, the client will consider new construction experience. Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc.. Experienced in inspecting welds on various manufactured products eg. pipelines, expansion joints, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other equipment Must be an independant contractors Pay rate between $75 - $90/hr depending on experience. Eligible for overtime.
