Network Engineer / Network Architect (CCNA / CCNP) | Dispatch Freelance Contract Sharp Brains Limited is actively seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Network Architect to join our global network of field engineers. This is a Dispatch-Based Freelance Contract, ideal for professionals looking to support enterprise networking, security, and data center projects on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities ✔ Design and develop scalable network solutions based on business and technical requirements. ✔ Implement and support enterprise network infrastructure, security, and connectivity solutions. ✔ Perform network assessments, architecture reviews, and provide strategic design recommendations. ✔ Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, hardware, software, and connectivity issues. ✔ Deploy and maintain network security technologies and best practices. ✔ Create and maintain technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, as-built documentation, BOMs, and knowledge transfer materials. ✔ Support operational escalations and ensure network performance, availability, and reliability. ✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network architecture and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking, network architecture, or infrastructure engineering. Strong hands-on experience with: Palo Alto Firewalls F5 Load Balancers Cisco ISE Cisco IOS & NX-OS Advanced knowledge of: TCP/IP IPSEC Site-to-Site VPN GRE Tunnels Client VPN NAT VRF Strong understanding of Data Center technologies: VPC VDC FCoE Fibre Channel (FC) Virtual Switching Expertise in Layer 2 technologies: Switching VLANs Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) Expertise in Layer 3 routing protocols: BGP OSPF EIGRP MPLS Experience with Wireless Network Design and Configuration. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications Cisco Voice / Call Manager Cisco Meraki SD-WAN Software Defined Networking (SDN) Network Monitoring Solutions Cisco Catalyst Center Infoblox Nexus Dashboard VXLAN Certifications Preferred: CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional Contract Details Dispatch-Based Freelance Opportunity Onsite Assignments Based on Client Demand Flexible Engagement Model Opportunity to Support Enterprise and Data Center Projects Advance Notice Provided Prior to Scheduled Activities Long-Term Collaboration Opportunities for High-Performing Engineers Please Note: This is not a full-time position.
