Assess vaccination status and health status to offer indicated vaccines such as influenza, COVID, pneumococcus, herpes zoster or based on the travel destination. Offer various services related to hypertension, diabetes or anticoagulant therapy. Provide instruction on the use of different blood glucose or blood pressure devices. Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner. Work with the pharmacy team to develop the service offering. What you’ll do: Assess health status and provide appropriate vaccines such as influenza and herpes zoster Identify and offer appropriate vaccines based on the travel destination Offer various services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy Provide instruction on the use of different devices such as glucometers, blood pressure monitors etc. Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner Work with the pharmacy team to develop the nursing service offering Requirements Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d’immunisation du Québec — Québec immunization protocol) and travel health Why work in a Shoppers Drug Mart store?
