Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role located in Burnaby, BC. The Pharmacist is responsible for safely dispensing prescriptions, verifying medication orders, and providing counseling on appropriate use, side effects, and interactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing patient profiles, collaborating with prescribers and other health care professionals, and supporting medication therapy management. The role also involves maintaining regulatory and company standards, overseeing pharmacy workflow, and contributing to inventory control and quality assurance. The Pharmacist will help lead a patient-focused environment by delivering exceptional service and supporting health and wellness programs in the store. Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body in British Columbia (or eligibility for licensure). Strong clinical knowledge of medications, therapeutics, and patient counseling practices. Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and apply professional judgment in complex cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage respectfully with patients, caregivers, and health care providers. Proficiency with pharmacy management systems, dispensing software, and basic computer applications. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Experience in community pharmacy or retail pharmacy settings is an asset. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required. Certifications (e.g., injection/administration of vaccines, CPR/First Aid) are required
