Job summary
This position is to plan, coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the effective operation of SIG Combibloc line equipment. In addition this position will deliver operational and technical training to internal staff and external customers The incumbent will possess excellent customer relations skills, be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written,develop training material and present in classroom and virtual environments. In addition the individual must be qualified to do mechanical adjustments, trouble shoot and repair control systems. Promote improvement of line performance and efficiency as part of continuous improvement methodology. Travel: 100% KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As an at-will employer, SIG reserves the right to add to or modify this list to the extent it deems necessary. Implement and manage hands on daily activities of maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Provide superior reports to the back office. Travel to other locations as required by manager, including Mexico and Canada. Plan, coordinate and execute planned preventive major maintenance activities to a high standard and in line with agreed procedures, ensuring effective operation of equipment. Provide production support post maintenance to bring the line to pre maintenance efficiencies or highest while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve both mechanical and automation malfunctions and breakdowns. Conduct systematic root cause analysis of problems to ensure permanent resolution and/or escalate with a proper problem description and documentation when root cause is not identified. Handle claims and provide technical support and guidance to escalated claims per the claims process and through the quality department, including root cause analysis. Install rebuilding kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment with a high level of customer satisfaction Training responsibilities: Execute technical trainings for qualification of customer and SIG staff; Maintain training records; Evaluation of training program success; Participate in technical trainings and field activities to build/maintain technical expertise; Maintain training equipment readiness; support other trainers being developed YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Engineering Associates degree, preferably electrical or mechanical. 6 plus years in technical/equipment/machinery experience preferably with SIG Combibloc Systems . Involving all levels of complexity including trouble shooting on the above equipment. Requirements
Requires an Associate's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and over 6 years of experience with technical machinery, preferably SIG Combibloc systems. Candidates must have experience developing training programs and be willing to travel 100% of the time.
