These surveys will assess risk exposures and help mitigate loss from hazards such as fire, explosion, machinery breakdown, natural hazards, construction practices and other business interruptions. The role will partner with leading insurance and industry clients across multiple sectors, such as Power, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Construction, Infrastructure, Manufacturing & Logistics. Duties/Responsibilities: * Conduct property risk engineering surveys to understand site operations and evaluate exposures from hazards, and make recommendations to meet Client, NFPA and FM Global codes and standards. * Produce detailed property risk engineering reports addressing all aspects of operations, hazards and exposures and risk management practices. Develop loss expectancies for recommendations and MFL, PML & NLE. * Ability to assess high hazard occupancies (flammable liquids, combustible dusts, etc.) * Provide consulting advice to clients on how to minimize losses and how to implement recommendations. * Provide loss prevention advice to clients, insurance company partners and other stakeholders. * Conduct desktop reviews of project plans and documents to provide an expert opinion of risks and risk quality for insurance underwriters and/or end clients. Required Skills/Abilities: * Self-sufficient, organized, and has good written and oral communication skills. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong understanding of NFPA, FM Global and LPC codes and datasheets * Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Education and Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required. * 5+ years of Highly Protected Risk engineering/consulting experience or experience within the insurance industry

Requirements
