About the Role The Communications and Marketing Coordinator supports communications and marketing activities for Vancouver Campus, as well as initiatives that enhance the SFU student experience across all three campuses. Reporting in to the C&M Campus Community team, the Coordinator provides expertise to support strategy implementation, collaborates with internal teams to ensure alignment with SFU’s objectives and facilitates clear and consistent communication across appropriate channels. The ideal candidate is a proactive and relationship-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. They are a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with multiple partners across departments to achieve shared goals. They demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, adaptability, and accountability, and bring a mature, solutions-oriented approach to navigating complex issues and competing priorities. Full Job Description Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field and three years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Strong writing and editing skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency with digital channels, such as web CMS and social media management tools. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Adaptability to adapt to changing priorities.
