Hiring: Full Stack Java Developer (Java | React | AWS) Location: Toronto(Hybrid 4 Days onsite) Contract Duration:12 Months Employment Type: Contract We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, React, AWS, and modern cloud-native technologies to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise trading and portfolio management applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on scalable, mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced Capital Markets environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java and React. Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, operations teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions. Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services and modern microservices architecture. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. Design solutions that improve scalability, performance, and operational efficiency. Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing. Build and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow. Write optimized SQL queries for data processing and reporting. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and technical documentation. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. Provide knowledge transfer through technical walkthroughs and documentation. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with: Java (Enterprise Application Development) React Node.js SQL Apache Airflow Terraform Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud services including: Amazon S3 EC2 EKS Athena Redshift CloudWatch Step Functions Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Git, Jira, and Confluence. Experience with unit and integration testing. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking. Knowledge of Trading or Portfolio Management platforms and workflows. Experience developing cloud-native, event-driven applications.
