Guided by a framework rooted in decolonization, reconciliation, Indigenous ways of knowing, and anti-racist/anti- oppressive pedagogy, the speech and language clinician applies a strengths-based, student-centered and inclusive approach to remove barriers to student learning and support the success of students and families. Through culturally responsive and trauma informed assessments, personalized programming, therapeutic interventions, and professional consultation, the speech and language clinician fosters meaningful change that aligns with the division’s priorities. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree - Speech-Language Pathology Must be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Manitoba Eligible or in possession of a current Manitoba School Clinician's Certificate Valid Class 5 drivers’ license and access to a reliable vehicle is required This position requires a speech and language clinician who is an active and visible participant within a school environment and can collaborate and communicate effectively on a multi-disciplinary team. The clinician provides multi-disciplinary services to meet the educational, social, emotional, and communication needs of students. They apply a strengths-based, inclusive approach through assessments and therapeutic interventions to remove barriers to learning.

Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Manitoba. A valid Class 5 driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and eligibility for a Manitoba School Clinician's Certificate are required.
