SITECH Eastern Canada Ltd., is hiring a Survey Support Specialist in Winnipeg. SITECH is the authorized dealer for Trimble Heavy and Civil Engineering construction products, software and services, as well as industry leading machine control systems. We are seeking candidates with experience with surveying, estimating, construction equipment, earthmoving operations. Prior customer service and/or experience with construction technologies and software, such as Trimble, Topcon, Leica, Spectra, a plus. Survey Support Specialist Responsibilities: * Provide technical support to customers who use Trimble Construction Surveying equipment and software, Machine Control and Guidance equipment, Trimble Business Center software and Trimble’s web based software; * Offer on-site assistance and troubleshooting when necessary; * Provide remote support through phone, email. or remote desktop tools to help customers resolve technical issues; * Conduct training sessions or workshops for customers to ensure they understand how to use Trimble products effectively; * Maintain a deep understanding of Trimble's surveying, machine control and guidance and office products and keeping up-to-date with new product releases, updates and features; * Diagnose and resolve technical issues and challenges that customers encounter with Trimble equipment and software; * Create and update technical documentation and guides to help customers troubleshoot common issues on their own; * Document and record processes accurately; * Use available training to continue upgrading current skill set; * Willing to travel as required; * Perform other duties as assigned.
