About The Job Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for full-time Security Guards in Cornwall, Ontario. Shift Open Availability (Mornings, Afternoons and Night shifts). Reception and Gatehouse Duties. Duties And Responsibilities Enforce regulations of the establishments. Visitor Access Control. Maintain order, follow, and adhere to post orders. Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures. Monitor security cameras. Operate security control room equipment. Patrolling. Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed. Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies. Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism. Report writing. Qualifications, Required License, Or Certification Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License. CPR Level C Certified. Good to have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Must be available to do shift work: Mornings, afternoon, nights & weekends. Good communication. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Professional work ethics. Must be able to stand for long periods. Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific. Excellent Customer Service. Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License and CPR Level C certification, and be available for morning, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts. Strong English communication, customer service, computer skills, professional work ethics, and the ability to stand for long periods are required; an Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle are considered beneficial.
