About The Job Skanna Systems & Investigations Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time Security Guard in Halton Hills, Ontario. Job Details Reception security guard. Full-time. Available to do, Morning & Afternoon Shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM & 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or Afternoon & Night Shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM & 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Must Drive (Have own Vehicle). Duties And Responsibilities Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems). Enforce regulations of establishments. Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies. Visitor Access Control. Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders. Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures. Monitor security cameras. Operate security control room equipment. Patrolling. Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed. Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism. Report writing. Qualifications, Required License, Or Certification Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License. CPR Level C Certified. Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s license and consistent access to a vehicle. Must be available to do rotational shift work: mornings, afternoons, nights & weekends. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Professional work ethics. Must be able to stand for long periods. Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs. Exceptional Customer Service. What We Offer Full-time. Employee Recognition Programs.
